First Thing’s First

I’m really bad at introductions so let’s pretend that I just”wowed” you and enticed you to read on.

Hello everybody. My name is John, but for the sake of being catchy, you may call me Johnny.

I recently graduated from college, and with that accomplishment, I’ve realized that I have a lot of free time on my hands. I had a moment of discovery and realized that I wanted to try journalism. Sometimes I like to write, but my main thing is I want to share my honest opinions since there are so many dishonest ones thriving on the inter webs. I currently do some volunteer gaming journalism at GameGuiders.com (Check it out. There’s some good stuff on there.)

My girlfriend suggested that I start a blog, since I love to talk about video games. Bear with me because this is a learning experience for me. The content I bring to you is from my trusty PS4. I’ve been with Sony since I got my PS2 for Christmas in 2000. With that being said, there is no “fanboyism”. I understand the faults of my allegiance, and will never sit in an argument about how Killzone was supposed to be the Halo killer or how PlayStation has better exclusives. If I could have both, I would.

I also love to talk about sports. I’m stuck on figuring out how to incorporate a sports tab so this could be a sports/gaming blog, so bear with me. If you wanna talk sports, I’m here to listen and debate. Basketball is my main love, but I’m trying to expand my horizons so I can talk about other sports. Just remember; ball is life.

One thing you won’t see too much of are reviews. I couldn’t review a game even if you threatened me to. I feel like I only play games I know I’ll like, and if I don’t, at least I tried it. Everything I’ll most likely talk about are news and my opinions about them.

This info can be found under the “About” tab, in case you ever forget who I am, want a quick refresher, or feel the need to tell your friends about me. Thank you for reading all of this, and I’m sorry if it was discombobulated. My mind thinks faster than I can type. With that being said, let’s get this party started.
